Spec Racing Karts Coming to Lime Rock Park
Housatonic Racing Development is partnered with Lime Rock Park as the exclusive provider to bring Spec Karting to LRP. Spec Karting provides a fast, fun and fair environment that puts an emphasis on driver development which is exactly what HRD is all about.
Beginning in 2025, Lime Rock Park will host events featuring our HRD Spec Karts on the newly paved and improved FCP Euro Proving Grounds Course (or Autocross Course). There will be a number of track configurations available with an opportunity for multiple groups to drive the karts throughout each program.
Rental Karts will be available in two categories:
Adult - 14 years old and up
Junior - 7 years old to 13 years old (Min 48" tall)
Karting helmets and protective neck rolls are mandatory and are included in each session.

Timing and Scoring
Timing and Scoring is provided and maintained using the MyLaps transponder system. All karts are outfitted with transponders and times will be posted live on a monitor adjacent to the course.
How to Sign up for Karting
The Karting events will be hosted throughout the racing season (May - October) at Lime Rock Park, 60 White Hollow Rd, in Lakeville, CT. Please click the button below to visit their event registration page.
KART RENTALS FOR GROUP / PRIVATE EVENTS
Beginning in 2025, Housatonic Racing Development will host group experiences, events and team-building exercises that make for a lasting impact on your employees, clients or friends. Enjoy a birthday behind the wheel or race your friends with this one of kind outdoor experience at Lime Rock Park.
